Who is responsible
This site is operated by Invoiser Deutschland GmbH. For any privacy question, contact [email protected].
You will find the full postal address and company details on the Legal notice page.
What we process
Newsletter and deadline alerts: if you sign up, we store your email address solely to send the updates you asked for. Every message contains an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing deletes your address.
Server logs: our web server briefly keeps technical logs (IP address, requested page, time) to keep the site secure and reliable. They are deleted automatically and never used for marketing.
VAT and Peppol checks: numbers you enter are forwarded to the official services (VIES, Peppol Directory) to answer your query and are not stored by us.
Legal bases
We process your email address for the newsletter and deadline alerts, and set statistics cookies, only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); you can withdraw this consent at any time without affecting prior processing. Server logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and reliable (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Who receives your data
We never sell personal data. Our hosting and email providers process data solely on our behalf and under a data processing agreement. Numbers you enter in the VAT and Peppol checks go only to the official services (VIES, Peppol Directory).
If you consent to statistics cookies, Google Ireland Ltd. receives the visitor statistics; this may involve transfers to Google LLC in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep data
We keep your email address for the newsletter or deadline alerts until you unsubscribe; it is then deleted. Server logs are deleted automatically after 30 days at the latest. Numbers entered in the VAT and Peppol checks are not stored.
Cookies
This site sets a functional session cookie and runs no advertising trackers. For visitor statistics we use Google Analytics; those cookies are only set after you agree via the cookie notice. If you decline, the site remains fully usable.
Alongside that we run our own measurement across the network, and it is not optional: it records which of our sites you saw before signing up somewhere, and it runs whether or not you accept the cookie notice. It places three cookies:
- im-vid recognises the same device on a later visit, and across our own domains (365 days)
- im-attribution remembers where you arrived from, so a later sign-up can be traced back to it (90 days)
- im-session groups the pages you read into a single visit (30 minutes)
This measurement rests on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR); the data stays within our own company and is neither sold nor used for advertising profiles. You can object at [email protected], and you can delete or block these cookies in your browser — the site keeps working without them.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction, deletion or restriction of the processing of your personal data, or ask for it to be transferred, at any time via [email protected] — and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Consent you have given can be withdrawn at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
